Children's Ministry
In Luke 18:16, “Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”. The Vision for our Children’s Ministry is to create a safe and secure space where Biblical truths are explained and expounded upon. Where kids can ask as many questions as possible and explore the Bible in many different ways. Where Biblical conversations and truths are expanded upon in the home.
Our mission is to be a ministry for our families as a whole. While our events and classroom environments are created with the children in mind, we want to be a ministry that helps the family as a whole grow closer to God.
Children’s Ministry
Our classrooms are open to all children ages 1 (and walking) to 5th grade. Every Sunday directly after worship we release the kids to their classes, separated by age categories (as seen below).
Seeds - ages 1 (and walking) to Four
This class is our youngest class available. We love story time and coloring as well as learning colors and shapes. Our goal is to offer free play with a steady mixture of Biblical principles.
Seedlings - Kindergarten to 5th Grade
This class may have a wide age range but that's what makes it fun. Hands-on story times and activities leave the kiddos engaged and create memories we hope they remember forever. Our goal is to create a safe space for our children to openly ask questions about God and hopefully discover how amazing God is.
Our Teachers:
We have a wide array of teachers who help out on a monthly rotation. Each one has a big heart for God and strengths in different areas. This creates a safe environment for the children to witness many different walks of life.
Our teachers meet regularly to discuss curriculum, activities, future, events, and most importantly, we pray for our children and their families.
Your Child's Safety...
is of utmost importance to us, and it is for this reason we have the following procedures in place.
All Children's Ministry teachers, assistants, youth volunteers, and leaders, 18 years and older, undergo a background check.
The majority of our teachers are CPR and First-Aid certified.
In the spirit of health and safety, we encourage families to use good judgment of your child(ren)’s health and ask that you refrain from dropping them off to class if they are ill.
